Hide those Flaws away..

Hello beauties,

It is said that after having a baby your life changes, but i would say that your life changes for good. Its a way God makes you realize the importance of being and having parents and the love we share is incredible.. Well i just loved this sudden transformation from being Jigyasa to Mumma.. love you Nick.. But hmm.. as it is said pregnancy and lactation comes with its own problems.. One of them which i faced badly are the PIMPLES.. eww..!! I had terrible marks on my face and the process of fading is very slow.. Really i cudnt go out with such a spotty face for days and used thousands of concealers to cover them but none of them worked to that desirable extent..

One fine day when i entered the store of MAC , i wanted to buy a peach blush but suddenly that girl in the store applied this concealer on one side of my cheek and wow.! the pimples were almost invisible.. and then i suddenly jumped in to by this product .Check the before and after pictures..

Here i am wearing MAC Prolong wear concealer NC 30.. and you will notice a huge transformation.. My marks seem almost gone and i am having a healthy glow without any foundation on.

Benefits of the product:

What i didnt like about the product:

hmm.. well it is the quantity (just 9 ml). I think it is injustice (hee hee)  Tell MAC to provide a good quantity of this wonderful product at this price..

Rosey lipcolor for the summers..

Don’t you love the time when someone special in your life surprises you with beautiful red flowers? Yes, I am talking about roses, my dear hubby just brought some home yesterday! I am crazy about roses, but I think I am much more crazier for my Chambor lip shade in 265 innocent rose

This shade is almost like a color of a deep red rose. Unlike the regular lipsticks, the Chambor lipstick dispenses out of a brush. Initially, my first reaction was that this might more like a lip gloss than a lipstick, but boy was I wrong or what! The lipstick applies like a gloss but instantly transforms into a matte finish. Even though it’s matte, it does not settle down in the lines of my lips, which I love.

Now let me jot down some reasons as to why I love this product so much!

• To start off, I am addicted to the color PINK! ( I have a huge collection of pinks in my entire makeup box)
• Definitely try the color on before making a purchase, because it applies differently on different skin tones. 
• The deep red color matches my complexion and complements my skin tone. 
• The transformation from gloss to a matte finish. 
• Great staying power – about 4 to 5 hours.
• Contains Shea Butter to provide moisture and nourishment to lips. 
• Price is alright, it costs around Rs. 595

My recommendation is that you all girls should definitely check out the color and think about investing in such a great product for the monsoons! 🙂 

Perfect Pink for barbie like-look..

Having a baby boy is great and all, but I have always wanted to have a little girl, just so I could dress her up in cute floral dresses with a matching headband and pretty little sandals. But alas, I got a boy and now I have to work with the little man I have next to me, maybe I could dress him up sometime to satisfy my heart’s desire! 😉

Anyhoo, since I can’t have it all, I did manage to find something that I had been yearning for for the longest time. Yes, it’s time to introduce you all to 12 Rose Neon shade from Bourjois. This color is from the recent line, Rouge Edition, of Bourjois. You should check out all the latest shades in this collection because they are extremely bold and bright for the summer.  And just to let you all know, I searched for this beautiful pink shade everywhere, I even visited the Mac, Inglot, and Clinique stores but found nothing similar to this shade.

This shade after application matched my ideal bright pink color that I was longing for. The bright color is extremely glamorous and it can be worn in the day for a quick shopping spree as well as during night for a date. The shade provides a barbie-barbie look to the entire face, but yes, prefer to keep the eyes bare while using this shade. Try not to use eye-shadows and lean more towards using a more natural shade eye shadow with loads of mascara and eye-liner.

This color will also look amazing with black clothing (I am a true love and an addict of the color black), but I also believe one should not be monotonous, so try wearing this with whites, nudes, but stay away from wearing bright colored shirts as it might become a bit too loud and gaudy.

Just to sum it up, the lipstick has:

• Creamy matte finish
• Moisturizing 
• Great staying power ( 4-5 hours)
• Attractive packaging
• Price is a bit on the higher side – Rs. 995 for 3.5 grams.

I will definitely buy the lipstick again and would love to explore with the other colors of the same edition.

LOREAL ABSOLUT REPAIR cellular hair mask review

So, let’s get started..

Today I am going to review one of the most popular hair spa product – the LOREAL ABSOLUT REPAIR cellular lactic acid repairing mask for very damaged hairs. This mask comes from Loreal’s professional hair care range, making this one of the most commonly used salon treatment for extremely dry and damaged hair.  I personally use it in place of my daily conditioner, as it provides heavy conditioning for my hair on a regular basis.

How To Use: 

To begin, shampoo hair and apply mask evenly for 5 minutes depending on the length of the hair. For some days, when my hair are extremely dry, I apply a little to my scalp as well.

Pros:

• Instantly soften hair
• Reduces Frizz
• Has a rich creamy consistency (this can be used to get salon like treatment at home, if applied to roots and lengths and taking steam, or wrapping hot towel wrap afterwards)
• Provides shine
• Pleasant fragrance
• Cannot say much about the repair, as these days my hair is falling like hell (maybe because of the hair loss after pregnancy), but even when i have got my hair rebnded the fifth time, the texture of my hairs is still good.

Cons: 

• Weighs hair down – not a fault of the product, since this mask is meant for professional use or for weekly application.
• I have to wash my hair on alternate days, else they begin to look greasy.
• Not available easily

Loreal Paris Gentle Lip and Eye-Make up remover review..

Hey guys today we will be discussing about Loreal paris dermo-expertise gentle Lip and eye make-up remover..

well i bought this one from the nearby mall 4 months ago and  i love using it.. well to sum up i will explain its advantages and disadvantages in a few points.. so here we go..

ADVANTAGES:

• Removes even the water proof make-up
• Ophthalmologically and dermatologically tested
• Gentle for eyes
• Removes any kind of make-up very quickly and easily.
• Does not irritates my eyes.
• Gives shine and glow to the eyes and even moisturizes it as it contains some oily sort of liquid

DISADVANTAGES

• Slightly expensive than other brands
• Gives a little oily feeling to eyes and lips, so you need to wash them with water after using it.
• Need to use it twice to completely wipe off a tough mascara

RATING: 4.2 out of 5

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN: yes, will definitely buy it again as i like its work and would definitely recommend it to others as well..
